No. Calculations run entirely in your browser and saved scenarios stay in local storage on your device. Your figures are not transmitted to us.

Q: Can I delete my data?

Because scenario data is stored locally, you can remove it any time by clearing your browser's site data or using the reset controls inside the tools.

All calculations run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. No property addresses, rent amounts, loan figures, or depreciation data are ever transmitted to any server.

💾 What Data Is Stored in localStorage

RentalInvestCalc uses your browser's localStorage to save your inputs so you don't lose work when you close the tab. This data NEVER leaves your device.

Key point: localStorage is sandboxed to your browser and this website's domain only. Other websites cannot access this data. It is not sent to any server, analytics tool, or third party.

🌐 Third-Party Services

Chart.js (CDN Only)

Tab 6 (Saved Deals) loads Chart.js from cdn.jsdelivr.net to render the asset growth chart. This is the only external CDN resource. No data is sent to the CDN — it merely serves the JavaScript library file. You can block this CDN in your browser and the calculator will still work (chart will not render).

No Analytics / No Tracking

RentalInvestCalc does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other user tracking tools. We do not know who you are, what properties you analyze, or how you use the calculators.

No Cookies

We do not set any tracking cookies. The only storage used is localStorage (described above), which is not a cookie and is not sent with HTTP requests.

Delete All Data Instantly

Go to Tab 6 ("Saved Deals") and click the "Clear All Data" button. This immediately deletes all localStorage data for this site.

You can also clear all localStorage data by using your browser's "Clear Site Data" feature (usually found in Developer Tools > Application > Storage, or in browser Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data).

There is no account system, no login, and no signup. We have no way to identify you or associate your data with any identity.

Offline Use

Once loaded, the calculator works offline (except for Chart.js loading on Tab 6). You can install it as a PWA for full offline access.
